What Estate Agency achievement of CityWest Residential are you most proud of?

The team began operating in sales just two years ago and are now outperforming some branches of well-known competitors such as Greene & Co (Maida Vale), Savills (Westminster) and Prime London (Central and Riverside). It’s good to learn that following a recent report by Rightmove, our estate agency CityWest Residential has ranked a high flying 16 out of 297 agents when it comes to market share of property for sale in Westminster.

  • Career case study - Georgina

    Name:Georgina

    Job title:Policy and Procedure Manager

When did you join CityWest Homes?in 2005

What has your career path been like at CityWest Residential?

I joined City West Homes as a junior administrator, and since then I have progressed through the organisation and even completed a post graduate diploma sponsored by CWR.

What makes CityWest Residential a great place to work?

The people first and foremost, we have everyone; oracles (people who have been with the council for 20 years or more), uni graduates who contrary to popular opinion are some of the hardest working, savviest, and grown up people in the building, as well as everyone in between. The energy and commitment to our customers is what in my opinion really makes this a great place to work.

What are your favourite buildings handled by CityWest Residential?

I really like the Churchill Gardens Estate, as not only was it my first ‘patch’ when I was promoted to frontline, it is a really interesting place both architecturally, historically, and is so loved by those who live there.

What do you like the most about working with CityWest Residential?

The banter and energy. As a team CityWest Residential are so permanently enthusiastic, dynamic and positive, its infectious.

What is your favourite part of Westminster and why?

Soho. I was doing an estate inspection once at a tower block in Soho, and as we were leaving two old ladies sat on a bench in the foyer stopped my colleague and I demanding to know who we were. We showed them our badges and introduced ourselves and asked if they liked living in noisy Soho. One of the ladies told us her entire story, about how as a young girl she and her family escaped Nazi Germany to live in London. She pointed to the other side of the street and explained her and her family occupied one small room of the building opposite, they shared one bathroom with 12 other families. No one had running water, or heating. The overcrowding and conditions were appalling. Then they built the tower, and she was offered a flat that she took. She has lived there ever since, bringing up her family and looking out of her window to witness all that Soho has been, become and embraced since the war. It was really touching and reminded me that an area like Soho is not just bars, restaurants, and young people partying, there are communities in the sky that have and will continue to endure.

Why is CityWest Residential different from other Estate Agents in Westminster?

CWR res have a distinct advantgate being connected to CWR, they are plugged into the communities, the stock and are able to use this to give their customers the advantage.

What Estate Agency achievement of CityWest Residential are you most proud of?

As a small new agency, CWR Res has forged ahead at a phenomenal pace outstripping many established agency’s in hits on market leading sights such a Right Move. This just goes to show the calibre of staff who made this happen.
