Service charges

About service charges

A lease requires that you to pay a share of the cost of managing a building. This includes insuring, maintaining and repairing the exterior and communal parts of the building and providing any other service specified in the lease.

The types of services you may pay for via your service charges include all minor repairs, building insurance, cleaning, grounds maintenance and cleaning, communal electricity, concierge, caretaker, graffiti removal, lift maintenance, paladin bin hire, pest control, security and window cleaning.

Service charges should be paid in full within 21 days of 1 April and 1 October each year.


You can elect to pay future day-to-day service charges by monthly instalments, giving you six months to pay.
