The BBC Proms 2015 begin this July, with the first events being held in Belgravia’s beautiful Cadogan Hall. This event will celebrate the 90th-birthday year of highly regarded composer Pierre Boulez. The concert will see piece written by the composer played alongside pieces from his contemporary, Betsy Jolas, and music by two composers new to the Proms: Shiori Usui and Joanna Lee. With tickets costing from between £5 and £12, this is a wonderfully affordable way to enjoy classical music in London’s beautiful and atmospheric Cadogan Hall.

The BBC Proms 2015 event will conclude with the ‘Proms in the Park’ event in Hyde Park on 12 September. For many people this is what the BBC Proms is all about. The event does, however, represent so much more than that. The BBC Proms 2015 is two months of first class musical events held across the capital, with different events and styles to suit every musical taste and interest. Budget friendly, and accessible to everyone, the BBC Proms 2015 is not to be missed.
