The Wolf from the Door at the Royal Court Theatre in Belgravia, London SW1

As we leave the glow of our Summer behind, why not sweeten the thought of those cooler nights and shorter days with an outing to the Royal Court Theatre, in Sloane Square in Belgravia. From the 10th September to 1st November, the Jerwood Theatre, upstairs at The Royal Court Theatre, was home to Rory Mullarkey’s Drama The Wolf from the Door.

Anna Chancellor, who most memorably played Duckface in 'Four Weddings And A Funeral', stars as Lady Catherine in this autumn’s production of The Wolf from the Door, directed by James Macdonald. The play imagines a wild road trip across Middle England, where Lady Catherine and her young protegee Leo enlist every tea room, hot yoga class and WI group on their mission to change the country forever.

The production kicked off a season of plays at the Royal Court, Belgravia, themed around revolution and resistance. Look out for a "mischievous" adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Twits by Ballyturk author Enda Walsh, next spring.
