Madame Tussauds in Marylebone Road, Marylebone, London NW1

The renowned Madame Tussauds is a popular attraction in Marylebone, London, all year round. During the summer, Marylebone Road has queues for hundreds of meters, with people waiting to get into the attraction and see some of their favourite stars and historical figures. The attraction first came about when Marie Tussauds, who was the former sculptor to Louis XVI, created a show of waxworks that depicted the then famous and some horrifying relics of the French revolution. Needless to say, the show was well received and has remained so ever since 1835. Marylebone Road is frequented by people from all over the world every year adding to it’s culture and diversity.

Today the Marylebone attraction houses wax stars like David Beckham, Kylie Minogue and Brad Pitt. Along with these famous names is the interactive part of the Madame Tussaud’s tour. Visitors can let Beckham watch them score a goal, address members of the UN and dare to travel through the chamber of horrors!

Children will enjoy the 4D Marvel experience where they can watch their favourite heroes rescue London. Marylebone’s many restaurants, shops and attractions, including Madame Tussauds, have always made the area popular with visitors. More recently, the Marylebone area has become a sought after place to live and make a fantastic home.
