ME & EM in Paddington, London, W2
- by CityWest Residential
Paddington is well known as being one of London’s busiest and most bustling transport hubs. Of course, it is also known the world over for its famous connection to the fictional character Paddington Bear, who travelled to London in search of home and found himself lost and all alone in Paddington station.
With thousands of commuters passing through Paddington Station each and every day, the surrounding area is home to a wealth of shops, restaurants and causual eateries.
Among Paddington’s high street brands and independent stores, one of the area’s most popular shops is ME & EM. A favourite among celebrities and arty set, this women’s luxury loungewear brand specialises in exclusive designs, cashmere and accessories. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth a visit.
High profile models have also shown support to the brand, including Emilia Fox who also models for the exclusive store.
Referred to as ‘the loungewear wizards’ by the influential fashion magazine Vogue, ME & EM has become the first port of call for those looking to experience high quality, luxurious loungewear that does not compromise on style. Oh, and Tatler magazine loves them too.
Previously known as the Pyjama Room, the boutique style shop opened on Connaught Street in 2007. The brand was set up by two working mums, Emma Howarth and Clare Hornby, out of the desire to provide clothing which combines both style and comfort.
The popular store is open Tuesday-Saturday every week, although opening times vary from day to day. On Tuesday and Wednesday ME & EM is open 10am to 6pm. Thursday 10am to 8pm, Friday 10am to 6pm and Saturday 10am to 5.30pm.
