Bodeans BBQ, Poland Street, Soho, London W1F 8PZ

Bodeans was one of the first venues to bring American-style BBQ food to London, and is well known throughout Soho and across the capital for the quality of the dishes and speed of the service. All of the chickens served are free range, the Scottish beef is aged for 21 days and the pork is sourced from EC approved English farms. With an American sports bar feel and a masculine atmosphere, it is the food here that really takes centre stage.

The meat is tender and delicious, while simultaneously being thoroughly affordable: main plates cost between £10-£17. The most popular dishes on the menu include the BBQ pulled pork and the BBQ burnt ends: real lovers of barbeque food can order a combo plate meal containing both dishes.
There are now five branches of Bodeans across London, but the Soho branch of this popular and delicious chain is considered to be the original and best. Note that the restaurant doesn’t take bookings for parties of fewer than eight people, so if you want to eat here during peak evening periods it is best to arrive early.

Bodeans Soho opens from 12pm- 11pm from Monday to Saturday and from 11.30am to 10.30pm on Sundays.
