Lovers and Other Strangers at The Cockpit on Gateforth Street in St John’s Wood, London, NW8 8EH

Lovers and Other Strangers, written by Renee Taylor and Joseph Bologna, will be performed as part of the Camden Fringe Festival. The play is divided into five short comedies, each one dealing with a different aspect of love and relationships in 1970s New York. The stories are gently intertwined and uncover every aspect of love, from individuals who have just met in a bar, to those who have been married for 33 years. The result is a play which is funny, heart-warming, and remarkably honest; there is sure to be a story to resonate with every theatre goer.

The Camden Fringe is a performing arts festival is open to everyone, anyone is welcome to apply. Shows include new writing, opera, musicals, stand-up, sketch comedy, dance, cabaret and poetry. The Cockpit is an intimate theatre, with a distinctive, independent voice, making it the ideal place to host a fringe festival event. Performances of Lovers and Other Stories will take place at the Cockpit from 10th - 14th August.

All Camden Festival venues are small and located close to public transport within the borough of Camden. Shows take place throughout the day and generally last one hour.

Tickets are £12 per person, and £10 for concessions.
