The parade lasts for approximately three hours as the energetic parade makes its way along the 2.2 mile inner city route. Starting from outside The Ritz Hotel, the parade ends at Parliament Square and features representatives from each of London’s 33 Boroughs.
The atmosphere is always electric as people gather on the streets of London to enjoy a varied programme of entertainment celebrating London’s diversity and creativity.
As the world wakes up to the first day of 2015, this year’s New Year’s Day Parade will also be celebrating its 29th anniversary. Set in the heart of London, the parade attracts visitors from far and wide, and has become known as a world famous parade in London’s calendar of exciting events.
